In order to ensure that UX research was easily accessible to those within our organization as well as outside our organization, we embarked upon the design and implementation of a UX repository. UX research and design principals were applied to this selection and implementation process. Dozens of internal user interviews were conducted to better understand needs, personas and user stories around finding and accessing UX research within EBSCO. Various types of content found in our UX research were abstracted and indexed. Product, persona, and feature taxonomies were created around critical information. Features were prioritized according to these newly created personas and user stories. These prioritized features were then used to evaluate various existing products and platforms which could be used for a UX repository. Due to a plethora of protentional product candidates, this process was critical in finding a solution that met the various and diverse needs within the organization. Next steps include the creation of external personas and user stories outside EBSCO. Please note - though I am from a vendor, no vendor products will be demoed in this presentation.
