During a recent Library website redesign, the external design team pushed an overall modern "look & feel" with large fonts and prominent white space, promising that "people aren't afraid to scroll nowadays.” Were they right? This talk uses heat-mapping software to evaluate the tradeoffs of long-scrolling pages for library websites.
